Ramsay Health Care is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Theatre Bookings Clerk to join our busy team. This vital role ensures the smooth scheduling and coordination of our theatre services, supporting our clinical teams and patient journey.

About the Role:

As our Theatre Bookings Clerk, you will be responsible for:

  • Entering theatre bookings accurately.
  • Linking admissions within our Health Hub system.
  • Checking theatre lists received from Doctor's rooms.
  • Processing theatre changes and moves in Meditech.
  • Liaising effectively with Doctor's rooms and theatre team members.

About You:

To excel in this position, you will demonstrate:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Competency with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • The ability to complete tasks within designated timeframes.

Highly Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Theatre Booking role.
  • A Certificate in Medical Terminology.
  • Experience using patient information systems such as Meditech.
  • Experience with hospital bookings systems.
  • Relevant health services experience.
