Therapist Physical

• Location: Nashville, TN
• Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas West
• Department: Rehabilitation
• Schedule: Day Shift l PRN

• Perform comprehensive initial and ongoing evaluations to pinpoint patient needs and track progress.
• Establish and evolve personalized care plans that actively involve patients and their families in the recovery journey.
• Utilize advanced physical therapy techniques and skilled interventions tailored to each patient’s unique condition.
• Oversee and mentor physical therapy assistants, students, and support personnel to ensure a high standard of care.
• Act as a key clinical resource, refining treatment strategies to ensure every patient achieves their maximum functional potential.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Physical Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Physical Therapy (PT) credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Physical Therapy prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
