This is highly analytical and programmatic work supporting the Office of Senate Security’s (OSS) efforts to identify, assess, and mitigate foreign intelligence, counterintelligence, insider threat, and other security risks affecting the United States Senate community. The Threat Intelligence Analyst serves as the primary resource for threat analysis, defensive counterintelligence awareness, and security education initiatives supporting both cleared and uncleared Senate community. The position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering threat assessments, defensive security briefings, awareness products, and engagement programs for Senators, Senate staff, committees, and the broader Senate community. The role also leads the development of a structured security awareness and counterintelligence outreach program for OSS, ensuring timely dissemination of relevant threat information through coordination with internal stakeholders and the Intelligence Community, and federal security partners. The Theat Intelligence Analyst is responsible for gathering products and producing analysis on intelligence priorities, and Senate equities as identified by Senate Security leadership. Work requires independent judgment, discretion in handling sensitive or classified information, and the ability to translate complex intelligence and security issues into clear, actionable guidance for a diverse audience. Work is bound by Secretary of the Senate policies and procedures, the U.S. Senate Handbook, and the Senate Ethics Manual but requires independent judgment in setting priorities and handling assignments.
