Threat Intelligence Team Leader
Summary
Lead a team of researchers investigating nation-state attacks and APT campaigns. Responsibilities include gathering intelligence, developing detection technologies, and publishing research using OSINT, security logs, and automation tools.
Check Point Research is looking for a team leader for the Advanced Threat Intelligence team. To investigate top-tier intrusions and nation-state attacks.
The Threat Intelligence group, key member of Check Point Research, leads the threat research, engages with customers, improves threat coverage and develops novel detection technologies.
Our research makes an impact! The team works closely with product development teams, customers, research partners, law enforcement and the media to make a difference.
Working with us will allow you access to data sources and visibility to the most advanced nation-state attacks. We are looking for people who are creative, proactive, team players and independent.
Major Responsibilities
- Managing a team of technological researchers and building a vision for the team
- Responsibility on gathering Intelligence on cyber and malware campaigns in the wild
- Conducting research and analysis of APT attacks
- Producing information that is introduced into Check Point Threat Cloud and leads to detection of additional malware campaigns
- Analyzing data from various sources, including OSINT, security logs, honeypot and others
- Creating opportunities for engagement with customers, partners and law enforcement organizations
- Developing content for external publications and industry conferences
A team leader or an experienced analyst who is willing to lead a team and has all the skills needed to do so is what we are looking for.
Threat Hunting and Analysis:
- Ability to unravel entire infrastructures of malicious campaigns.
- Knowledge of advanced threat hunting methodologies and the ability to develop novel techniques.
- Programming knowledge required for the development of threat hunting automation.
- Experience in writing technical blog posts and technical analysis reports.
- Ability to translate your findings into actionable detection signature recommendations.
Showcasing your research:
- Experience in presenting your research at conferences.
- Ability to convey complex ideas in a simplified and clear manner.
- Speaking with PR agencies, promoting your research and publications.
- Delivering talks and knowledge sharing sessions to Check Point customers and product teams.
