About the Role

The Threat Intelligence & Vulnerability Management Analyst will identify, analyze, and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities across the organization’s IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze emerging threats, malware trends, and attacker techniques.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments across systems, applications, and cloud environments.
• Perform vulnerability scans using tools such as QualysGuard.
• Support incident response by identifying vulnerabilities exploited during attacks.
• Analyze security data, trends, and anomalies to provide actionable insights.
• Assess and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and impact.
• Test patches and configuration changes to validate remediation.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams on vulnerability remediation and threat intelligence.

Requirements

• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, Diamond Model, and Cyber Kill Chain frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with QualysGuard and SIEM tools such as AlienVault.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, and networking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of threat intelligence platforms and methodologies.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CEH, or GSEC are an advantage.
