Exciting opportunity for experienced AWS Cloud / Software Engineers to work on modern, cloud-native solutions and enterprise technology initiatives.
We are seeking three skilled Cloud / AWS Software Engineers to join a collaborative technology team delivering secure, scalable and highly available cloud solutions. You will be involved across application development, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, integration and technical design.

About the role
Design, develop and maintain cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices and integration services on AWS.
Build serverless, event-driven and containerised solutions using AWS Lambda, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, EventBridge, SNS, SQS and Step Functions.
Develop software using Java, Python, Node.js, JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
Design and provision cloud infrastructure using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation and/or AWS CDK.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
Develop reusable cloud components, frameworks and deployment patterns.
Translate business requirements and user stories into secure, scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
Participate in code reviews, testing, quality assurance and defect resolution.
Troubleshoot production incidents, performance issues and technical defects.
Contribute to architecture discussions, technical design workshops and cloud governance.
Provide technical guidance on AWS best practices and cloud-native architecture.
Work within an Agile environment and contribute to continuous improvement.
Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated experience as a Software Engineer / Cloud Engineer working with AWS.
Strong hands-on experience designing and developing cloud-native applications and distributed systems.
Strong programming skills in one or more of Java, Python, Node.js, JavaScript or TypeScript.
Experience with AWS serverless, event-driven and/or containerised technologies.
Experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, EKS, EventBridge, SNS, SQS and Step Functions.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, CloudFormation and/or AWS CDK.
Experience developing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
Strong understanding of software development, testing, security and quality practices.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical and production issues.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in Agile environments and contributing to technical design and architecture discussions.
A collaborative approach, with an interest in mentoring and supporting team capability.
