TIG Welder - Agency

Trade Qualified Welder.

Build and Assemble products and sub-assemblies to the highest quality standard and on time. This position follows standard work methods, and practices safe work habits, to ensure safety of yourself and team members to maximise productivity and efficiency

• Must be an experienced tig welder. Welding of stainless steel preferred.
• Proficient with welding thin gauge stainless steel, tube in tube, fusion welding
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, fixtures, machinery, and equipment.
• Unwavering compliance to Manufacturing and Assembly Instructions and process.
• Must be able to read English and understand workplace documents including production procedures, work schedules, assembly instructions and engineering drawings.
• Suitable finger dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Willingness to be cross-trained, and be able to locate to other areas of fabrication.
• Documents work in production and quality forms.
• Inspects components and completed work for proper assembly within allotted task time
• Factory cleaning, sweeping and dust management
• Waste Management including recycling and separation of materials
• Participates in 5S and Kaizen initiatives
• May be required to undertake duties and tasks in other work areas as operationally required including assembly and sub-assemblies.
