TIG Welder / Fabricator - 2nd shift

Shift hours: Monday through Thursday, 3:30pm - 2:00am

Marlin Steel Wire Products is seeking a skilled TIG Welder/Fabricator to support custom, high‑volume stainless steel and wire assembly production. This role requires strong blueprint interpretation skills, excellent attention to detail, and hands‑on experience performing manual TIG welding in a manufacturing environment. The TIG Welder plays an active role in in‑process quality control and works closely with production and quality teams to ensure products meet exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual TIG welding on stainless steel, steel, and wire assemblies for custom and high‑volume production jobs
• Interpret full fabrication drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, and weld symbols
• Set up, adjust, and operate TIG welding equipment based on job requirements
• Use precision measuring tools such as gauges, tape measures, calipers, and micrometers to verify product conformance
• Complete traveler documentation accurately and in real time
• Conduct first‑piece, in‑process, and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met
• Identify, document, and communicate nonconformances, working closely with the Quality Department to resolve issues
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all safety procedures
• Comply with company quality systems and manufacturing standards
• Follow documented procedures and work instructions in alignment with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements
• Collaborate with supervisors and lead operators to meet production schedules and quality expectations
