JOB SUMMARY:

The TIG Welder plays an important role in the production of high-quality pressure and temperature instrumentation. This position primarily focuses on pressure instruments, requiring Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding skills to meticulously weld and assemble components, ensuring the structural integrity and functionality of our products. The role requires working closely with the manufacturing team to maintain our highest quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

TIG Welding and Fabrication:

• Expertly perform Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding to precisely join components and fabricate assemblies.

• Read and interpret drawings and work instructions for accurate welding and assembly.

• Execute repetitive production work, maintaining consistent quality standards to ensure that welds are both structurally sound and cosmetically good.

Material Preparation:

• Prepare materials for welding, encompassing cutting, grinding, and cleaning to ensure optimal welding conditions.

• Conduct thorough inspections of materials to detect defects and quality issues, addressing them to maintain the integrity of the finished product.

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct visual inspections of welds to uphold company standards for quality and consistency.

• Actively participate in quality control procedures to identify and resolve any welding or assembly-related issues.

Safety and Equipment Maintenance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and practices to create and maintain a safe working environment.

• Regularly perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure they remain in good working condition.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to meet production goals and timelines.

• Communicate effectively with co-workers to address any issues or challenges that come up during the manufacturing process.
