Summary
On-site tiler installs tiles on floors and walls, cutting and fitting them to specifications, applying adhesive and grout, and ensuring safety standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Surface Prep: Clean, level, and waterproof floors or walls using cement, plaster, or sand before installation.
- Layout & Measurement: Read blueprints and measure areas to mark grids and align patterns accurately.
- Cutting & Fitting: Shape tiles using hand or power tools to fit around corners, pipes, and fixtures.
- Setting & Grouting: Spread mortar or adhesive, place tiles evenly with correct spacers, and apply grout to joints.
- Safety & Maintenance: Clean excess grout, follow site safety rules, and wear required protective gear
