Responsibilities
- Supervise and delegate tasks during shifts to maintain smooth workflows and efficient store operations
- Coach employees and provide constructive feedback to build positive employee experiences and foster teamwork
- Lead by example to deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming store environment
- Enforce company policies and standards by coordinating shift schedules, monitoring attendance, and addressing performance issues promptly
- Perform operational support tasks including overseeing store cleanliness and organizing stock to ensure readiness
- Maintain quality control in food and beverage preparation by conducting regular store inspections and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Monitor sales performance and assist the store manager in achieving sales targets
- Communicate store updates clearly to facilitate smooth shift handovers and report issues, incidents, or employee concerns to the store manager
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the service industry with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated through team and customer interactions
- Ability to multitask and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work shifts including weekends and public holidays
