Tire & Lube Technician

Rocky Mountain Truck Centers is hiring Top-Notch Lube and Tire Technicians for our Newton, KS location. This is a full-time position, with the opportunity for over-time.

Duties

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfaction. Other minor duties may be assigned.
• Works under limited supervision and selects from written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Performs inspections, repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
• Conducts safety checks on vehicles
• Willing to work on rotation after hours

Requirements

• Preferred minimum of 1+ years of experience, OR willing to train correct person, with the ability to perform preventative Lube Oil Filter Service on light, medium and heavy-duty trucks.
• Must have the ability to perform the following:
• Tire repair and service
• Remove & Replace: Starter, Alternator, Battery, Air Dryer, Hoses, Air lines, Brake chambers, U-Joints, Axle gaskets

• Basic electrical
• Driveline service
• Fluid changes
• Must own a set of tools

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

* Legally eligible to work in the United States.

* Ability to perform physical requirements of the position

* Successfully complete pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history and motor vehicle record review.
