The Terumo Interventional Systems division (TIS) provides high quality, cutting-edge solutions for cardiac and vascular surgery, and minimal invasive interventional procedures performed inside blood vessels. We pursue therapies that minimize physical burden on patients. We offer diagnostic and therapeutic solutions and an Access and Closure portfolio for Interventional Cardiology (IC), Peripheral Intervention (PI), and Interventional Oncology (IO).

This position will cover the whole TIS portfolio, including Interventional Cardiology, Peripheral Intervention and Interventional Oncology.

Job Summary

As TIS Marketing Manager Saudi Arabia, you will partner with commercial, medical, and regional teams to shape and execute the marketing strategy for Terumo Interventional Systems' portfolio across KSA. In this highly visible role, you will drive sustainable market growth, strengthen brand positioning, and contribute to improved patient outcomes through the successful adoption of innovative healthcare solutions.

Working closely with Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and regional stakeholders, you will transform market insights into business opportunities, develop impactful go-to-market strategies, and enhance commercial excellence through training and capability-building initiatives. You will also play a key role in establishing and nurturing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and strategic partners, ensuring Terumo remains a trusted partner within the healthcare community.

Job Responsibilities

Shape the Marketing Strategy and Drive Business Growth

Develop and execute the marketing strategy for the Saudi Arabian market, aligned with the broader EMEA Interventional Systems vision and objectives
Translate market insights, customer needs, and emerging healthcare trends into actionable growth opportunities across Access & Closure, Interventional Cardiology, Peripheral Interventions, and Interventional Oncology
Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities and strengthen Terumo's market position
Lead annual marketing planning and forecasting activities, ensuring clear priorities and alignment across stakeholders
Partner with cross-functional teams to create compelling value propositions that maximise the impact of our products and services
Contribute to portfolio growth through both upstream and downstream marketing initiatives

Enhance Customer Engagement and Portfolio Performance

Develop impactful marketing campaigns, educational programmes, and promotional initiatives in collaboration with regional Marketing Communications, Digital, and Social Media teams
Support the organisation of congresses, symposia, workshops, and customer events that advance clinical education and customer engagement
Partner with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and industry stakeholders to strengthen Terumo's presence and reputation in the market
Contribute to portfolio forecasting, inventory planning, and long-term business planning to support sustainable growth
Act as a brand ambassador, building trusted relationships with customers, healthcare institutions, and external partners

Turn Strategy into Results

Ensure marketing strategies are effectively translated into local commercial plans and distributor activities
Monitor portfolio performance through key metrics including market share, profitability, pricing, and customer adoption
Analyse business performance and identify opportunities to accelerate growth or address market challenges
Leverage digital tools and analytics to optimise customer engagement and continuously improve marketing effectiveness
Collaborate closely across product areas to maximise synergies and deliver a seamless customer experience across the Terumo Interventional Systems portfolio
Support quality and compliance processes related to the product portfolio, including complaint handling and product monitoring activities

Enable Learning and Commercial Excellence

Work closely with training and commercial teams to align educational initiatives with portfolio strategy and business priorities
Share market, product, and customer insights to support capability building and continuous development across the organisation
Act as a trusted product and market expert for internal stakeholders, helping teams deliver value to customers with confidence

Support Innovation and New Product Launches

Stay connected to evolving customer needs, healthcare trends, and technological developments to identify future growth opportunities
Contribute innovative ideas for new products, services, and customer solutions
Lead local pre-launch and launch activities for new products, ensuring successful market introduction and adoption
Develop and execute launch strategies that drive both short-term impact and long-term market success
Partner with Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, and other cross-functional teams on product evaluations, post-market surveillance, and customer feedback activities

Profile Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience gained through your career
Proven experience in strategic marketing within the medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or broader healthcare industry
Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies, including new product launches and go-to-market initiatives in Saudi Arabia
Strong understanding of healthcare markets, customer needs, and stakeholder engagement within a regulated environment
Experience with digital and multichannel marketing approaches to effectively engage customers and stakeholders
Strong project management skills, with the ability to successfully deliver initiatives on time and within budget
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
Experience working effectively in a matrix and multicultural environment, balancing local market needs with regional and global priorities
Collaborative and relationship-oriented approach, with a strong ability to build partnerships across functions and teams
Self-motivated and capable of working independently while taking ownership of priorities and results
Proven ability to engage, influence, and build trusted relationships with sales teams, healthcare professionals, Key Opinion Leaders, and internal stakeholders
Fluency in Arabic and a strong command of English, both written and spoken
