Title Administrator II (3458)
Purpose:
The Title Administrator II is responsible for reviewing, processing, and maintaining original vehicle titles to ensure accuracy, legitimacy, and validity for Taylor & Martin’s purchases, auctions, reassignments, and transfers. This position is also responsible for ensuring titles and related documentation are properly secured, processed, mailed, tracked, and followed up on in a timely manner, as well as providing auction sale-day support related to registration, bidding, and bidder approvals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide vehicle title service support to Senior Field Office Manager, Auction Administrators, Field Office Managers, Auction Proceeds Payable Clerks, and Preferred Leasing Manager.
- Coordinate, communicate, monitor, document, file, and safeguard all correspondence, documentation, copies, and originals of motor vehicle titles.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and thorough reviews, corrections, duplications, mailings, and collections of all motor vehicle titles for vehicles to be sold, consigned, auctioned, leased, or transferred.
- Respond to phone and email inquiries related to titled equipment to ensure quality customer service.
- Type and edit correspondence for title requests and inquiries; prepare for mailing or faxing as necessary.
- Reassign, copy, label, and prepare envelopes to mail copies or original titles and related documents to customers.
- Maintain up-to-date state agency files, forms, and all title-related documents, including points of contact, phone numbers, and mailing addresses for each State Department of Motor Vehicles and other related agencies.
- Provide TMI Live overflow phone coverage and cover front receptionist duties during breaks and lunch as needed.
- Provide phone coverage on auction sale days.
- Respond to phone and email inquiries regarding registration, bidding, and approvals.
- Assist customers with registration and bidding-related questions during auction sale days.
- Review bidder information and approve bidders upon satisfaction of Taylor & Martin’s established requirements.
- Communicate with the appropriate internal teams regarding registration, bidding, and bidder approval questions or issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
