Title I Tutor

Position Title: Title I Tutor

Position Summary:
The Title I Tutor provides targeted academic support to students who need additional instruction and intervention. Tutors work with small groups of students using a designated tutoring plan and student data to address learning needs.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid, active Missouri DESE teaching certificate in the area in which the individual will provide tutoring
• Current district teachers and qualified Kelly substitute teachers may apply
• Ability to work the designated tutoring schedule and maintain required documentation

Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging, targeted instruction in the tutor's certified content area
• Work with students in small-group settings to address identified academic needs
• Monitor student attendance and progress
• Maintain required student sign-in sheets and monthly timesheets
• Communicate with building staff regarding student participation and needs
• Follow all district Title I tutoring procedures and requirements

Compensation:

• $30 per hour
