Location: The Learning Experience - Ledgewood, NJ
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - Ledgewood is hiring a Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team!
We're looking for a caring, dependable educator who enjoys guiding toddlers through important milestones, creating engaging learning experiences, and building strong relationships with children and families.
What You'll Do
- Plan and support daily Toddler classroom activities and routines
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Encourage early language development, movement, independence, and social-emotional growth
- Engage children through music, art, sensory play, and hands-on learning
- Support diapering, toilet training, meals, rest time, and classroom transitions
- Maintain consistent routines and use positive behavior guidance
- Observe developmental milestones and communicate regularly with families
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and center leadership
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
- Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous professional toddler, daycare, or early childhood education experience preferred
- Toddler classroom experience is a plus
- CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred but not required
- Understanding of toddler development and age-appropriate care
- Patient, dependable, nurturing, and comfortable working as part of a team
- Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
