Job Summary

Perform repair and servicing of molds, modify tooling anddefects, operate conventional machines, fabricate inserts within blueprinttolerances, and conduct bench fitting and correction repairs of new tools.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service molds to maintain optimal functionality and quality
• Modify tooling and address defects to ensure production standards
• Operate conventional machines including grinding, turning, milling, and EDM to support tooling fabrication
• Fabricate inserts according to blueprint tolerances to meet design specifications
• Perform bench fitting and correction repairs on new tools to ensure readiness for production

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or NITEC in Engineering discipline or equivalent with minimum 3 years’ experience in plastic injection molding environment
• Ability to use grinding, turning, milling, and EDM machines to support tooling and mold operations
