Tool Crib Tech - 2nd Shift

Tool Room Attendant:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Tool Room Tech to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient management of materials, equipment, and tooling necessary for our production processes. This position Monday-Thursday, 2:00PM-12:00AM; four ten hour shifts, with Friday-Sunday non work days.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive, count, and record stock items manually or using computer systems to ensure accurate inventory management.

- Verify inventory accuracy by comparing physical counts with recorded data, investigating discrepancies, and making necessary adjustments.

- Store items in an organized manner to facilitate easy access and inventory control.

- Set up tooling for production orders to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing processes.

- Repair and maintain tooling equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

- Keep detailed records of stock movements, tooling setup, and maintenance activities.

- Assist in compiling stock reports and maintaining accurate inventory documentation.

- Follow safety protocols and company policies in all activities to promote a safe working environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or experience in inventory management or tooling preferred.

- Proven experience in a tool room, warehouse, or inventory management role is advantageous.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to operate basic computer systems and inventory software.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Physical ability to lift, move, and handle materials and tools as required.

- Commitment to safety standards and procedures.
