Summary

Manufactures butt-weld pipe fittings; builds, repairs, and reverse-engineers precision tooling and dies using lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines.

We are seeking a Tool & Die Maker to join our team at Ezeflow USA, Inc. – Flowline Division in New Castle, PA. Flowline is a proud manufacturer of butt weld pipe fittings, ranging from ½” to 24 “in diameter. We are a 24 / 7 manufacturing company who delivers worldwide. The Tool and Die Maker/Machinist is a vital part of our manufacturing team. The role utilizes your core skills in mechanical knowledge, tooling, and precision measuring instruments to fabricate high-quality components. The Tool and Die Maker will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools including but not limited to: radial drill presses, lathes, milling machines, sharpeners, and grinders. This role will lay out and fabricate a variety of fixtures and parts and assist maintenance in repairing and reverse engineering broken parts. This role will also assist in developing and building custom machinery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Weld and grind dies
  • Studies blueprint or layout on work piece to visualize machining required, and plan sequence of operations.
  • Use precise measuring equipment to produce quality tools
  • Set up parts in a variety of machining equipment.
  • Select feed rate, cutting speed, depth of cut, and cutting tools for a variety of operations.
  • Moves controls on manual and CNC equipment.
  • Manage the repair of tools and dies needed for production
  • Work with production on improving new and existing product lines and what tools/dies will be required
  • Manage tool room’s inventory of materials, tools, and equipment
  • Perform basic daily maintenance on machining centers
  • Operates crane and forklift.

Work Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week
    • Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. during training period, will move to four (4) tens (10's) 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. as training progresses
  • Overtime as needed when production needs dictate overtime is required to fulfill customer delivery expectations
