OGS is seeking a Tool & Die Maker who is responsible for building, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and modifying production stamping dies and tooling. Our tool room primarily supports existing production tooling purchased from outside Tool & Die makers. We build fixtures, and some tooling in-house, but the primary focus is keeping production tooling running safely and reliably.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, inspect, repair and test stamping dies, including progressive, blanking, forming, restrike, and other tooling.
• Diagnose dimensional issues, burrs, broken or worn components, forming problems, misfeeds, alignment issues, and other tooling-related problems.
• Machine replacement punches, inserts, die sections, blocks, pins, bushings, and other tooling components.
• Read and interpret part prints, tooling drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T.
• Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and height gauges.

Candidates should have experience with or the ability to operate several of the following:
