Hunton Services, a division of The Hunton Group in Houston, Texas, is seeking a dependable and versatile Tool Room Associate to support daily tool-room, fleet, warehouse, and field-service operations. This hands-on role helps ensure our technicians have the tools, equipment, materials, vehicles, and information they need to complete their work safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-minded, comfortable balancing changing priorities, and willing to assist wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, stock, organize, pack, distribute, and track tools, equipment, parts, materials, and supplies.
  • Check tools and equipment in and out, maintain accurate records, and help complete routine inventory and asset reconciliations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify the appropriate supervisor when purchases or reorders are needed.
  • Inspect returned tools and equipment; identify and report missing, damaged, or malfunctioning items.
  • Perform basic cleaning, preventive care, and minor mechanical or electrical tool repairs when qualified to do so.
  • Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up tools, equipment, materials, parts, and supplies at company locations, customer jobsites, and vendor locations.
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload materials using appropriate straps, tie-downs, and load-securement practices; operate a flatbed trailer when required.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery, pickup, transfer, vehicle, and trailer documentation.
  • Coordinate daily priorities with the Tool Room Coordinator, Asset and Fleet Manager, technicians, vendors, and other Service personnel.
  • Maintain tool and fleet databases, including vehicle assignments, fuel information, cost centers, locations, registrations, inspections, tolls, and maintenance records.
  • Assist with service schedules, repair authorizations, invoice review, vehicle registrations, toll enrollment, violations, and other fleet-compliance activities.
  • Prepare basic reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and records using Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
  • Maintain company vehicles, trailers, the Tool Room, and storage areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
  • Follow all Hunton Services safety policies, safe-driving requirements, and inventory-control procedures.
  • Provide professional, courteous service to employees, customers, vendors, and jobsite personnel, and perform other duties as assigned.
