Job description
Experience in Sheet metal tooling design and fabrication.
• Shall be expertise in designing and creating production drawings for incoming individual and
assembly inspection gauges and welding fixtures
• Review and critique 2D drawings and develop and manage tooling specifications
• Independent handling of Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review
(CDR) phases.
• Strong Knowledge required on Milling, Turning and surface and Heat treatment process
• Manage outside vendors with on time and on budget delivery of tooling components when
required
• Ability to perform tolerance stack-up analysis and full understanding of GD&T
• Develop innovative solutions for component fabrication and assembly using proven
composite bonding and fastening techniques

5 plus Years of Sheet metal component assembly Tool/Fixture Designer
Qualification Required Diploma and BE in mechanical engineering
Skills Required Should be able to work with CATIA V5
Should have good knowledge in 3D modeling and drafting
Must maintain a high level of technical tooling and fixture knowledge
