Total Wealth Planning Associate - Mississauga/Oakville
You support Senior Total Wealth Planners, advisors, and specialists in preparing comprehensive financial plans for high-net-worth clients. You translate client information into planning inputs and analysis, develop preliminary scenarios, review assumptions for quality and compliance, finalize recommendations and action items, update plans after meetings, and stay current on legislation and planning practices.
Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive total wealth plans
- Translate client discovery information into planning inputs and analysis
- Develop preliminary planning scenarios aligned with client goals
- Gather information and review client files
- Support integrated recommendations with advisors and specialists
- Finalize plans, recommendations, action items, and next steps
- Update plans after client meetings
- Review advisor-completed plans for regulatory and internal compliance
- Assess planning assumptions for accuracy and reasonableness
- Stay current on legislation and planning trends
- Refine planning software modeling strategies
Requirements
- Knowledge of financial planning concepts including investments, tax, retirement, estate planning, and risk management
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Experience with financial planning software
- College or university degree, preferably in business, finance, economics, or a related field
- Progress toward a QAFP, CFP, or equivalent financial planning credential
