Tour Leader Manager

We are seeking an experienced Tour Leader Manager to join our Iberia team, based in Portugal (remote). This role is responsible for leading the recruitment, development, coaching, and performance management of our Tour Leaders while ensuring exceptional service delivery and alignment with company values.
Mandatory Qualifications (Required)
- Experience in the travel industry.
- Experience managing and developing people.
- Fluent in both English and Portuguese.
- Based in Portugal.
- Available to travel frequently, including at short notice.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (filters, formulas, and conditional formatting).

Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and manage Tour Leaders across assigned products.
- Build and maintain a high-performing team that exemplifies the company’s culture, values, and team spirit.
- Develop and implement individualized training plans for newly hired Tour Leaders.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development discussions.
- Lead Tour Leader onsite meetings, training sessions, and operational workshops.
- Facilitate field-based learning experiences and road-trip simulations.
- Ensure Tour Leaders have the tools, knowledge, and support necessary to succeed.
- Provide emergency support to Tour Leaders and help drive timely issue resolution.
- Travel regularly throughout the region to observe operations and support team development.
- Interact directly with travelers to gather insights and ensure service excellence.
- Review passenger feedback, quality reports, and operational performance metrics.
- Develop coaching and improvement plans based on traveler feedback and performance trends.
- Manage administrative responsibilities both in the office and while traveling.
- Prepare and deliver weekly reports to the Regional Leader and Boston Headquarters.
- Drive the achievement of Regional Excellence goals across the assigned region.
