Tower Climber Seguin

SUMMARY

Responsible for the installation of wireless equipment at tower sites.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

• Perform equipment installations and replacement at various heights on the tower.
• Support wireless network techs during remote equipment trouble shooting of equipment.
• Perform site maintenance on tower cabinets and central offices.
• Install and maintain both AC and DC power equipment.
• Inspect towers and make recommendations for maintenance or repair.
• Use industry and OSHA standards for rigging and rope work at tower site.
• Make recommendations to Wireless Network Technicians for equipment repair/replacement.
• Maintain compliance to all relevant OSHA, safety or departmental standards as directed by supervisor.
• Other duties may be assigned.
