Tower Crane Erectors
Summary
Assembles, inspects, and maintains tower cranes on construction sites, following engineering drawings and safety protocols.
- Assemble and install tower cranes on construction sites according to project specifications and engineering drawings.
- Dismantle tower cranes safely and efficiently upon project completion.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on cranes to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and other construction personnel to coordinate crane operations.
- Ensure all lifting and rigging equipment is in good condition and used properly.
- Follow strict safety protocols and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to site-specific safety plans.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to crane assembly, operation, or dismantling.
- Maintain accurate records of crane assembly, inspection, and maintenance activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient crane operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of [3] years of experience in tower crane erection and dismantling.
- Strong knowledge of crane mechanics, rigging techniques, and safety procedures.
- Valid certifications for crane operation, rigging, and safety (e.g.OSHA) are required.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to work at heights.
