Tower Technician III (4476)

Job Summary:
Tower Technicians are responsible for performing installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wireless telecom equipment at various sites, often internationally. Depending on level, the scope includes increasing responsibility for quality, efficiency, leadership, and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities (By Level):
Tower Technician I
- Support wireless site builds and installations under supervision.
- Perform waterproofing, grounding, and cable support tasks.
- Assist with materials handling, housekeeping, and safety checks.
- Follow directions and learn trade skills on-site.
Tower Technician II
- Perform all TT I duties with minimal supervision.
- Lead basic installations: antennas, radios, jumpers, grounding, RETs.
- Mentor TT I team members and assist with integration tasks.
- Collect closeout documentation and assist TT III as needed.
Tower Technician III
- Lead telecom equipment installations with minimal guidance.
- Train and mentor TT I & II technicians.
- Troubleshoot and support site integration.
- Assist or substitute for Crew Leader when necessary.
- Perform advanced tasks such as sector frame and platform installation.
