Role:
Our TPM Consultants play a key role in delivering EFESO’s world-class Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and operational excellence programs. This role blends deep technical understanding of maintenance & reliability with strong facilitation, coaching, and change-management skills. You will work directly with client leadership, supervisors, and frontline teams to diagnose performance gaps, design TPM roadmaps, and implement the pillars that drive breakthrough results in safety, quality, productivity, and cost. This is a hands-on consulting role ideal for someone who thrives in industrial environments, enjoys coaching teams, and is passionate about building sustainable operational capability. Experience in consumer goods, food & beverage, packaging, or industrial manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
TPM Program Design and Deployment
- Conduct baseline assessments of maintenance maturity, equipment performance, and loss analysis.
- Design TPM master plans, pillar structures, and implementation roadmaps aligned to client objectives.
- Lead the deployment of core TPM pillars (Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement, Early Equipment Management, Skills Development, etc.).
- Facilitate Kaizen events, loss-elimination workshops, and cross-functional problem-solving sessions.
Maintenance & Reliability Improvement
- Analyze equipment performance using OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and loss trees to identify improvement priorities.
- Support clients in developing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Guide the creation or optimization of maintenance work processes, PM routines, lubrication standards, and spare-parts strategies.
- Coach maintenance teams on reliability fundamentals, root cause analysis, and work execution excellence.
Capability Building & Coaching
- Train operators and technicians on Autonomous Maintenance steps, equipment care, and problem-solving.
- Coach supervisors and managers on performance management, daily control systems, and leadership behaviors.
- Develop training materials, standards, and visual management systems to embed new ways of working.
Performance Management & Results Delivery
- Establish KPIs and governance routines to track TPM progress and sustain improvements.
- Support clients in implementing tiered accountability systems and daily management.
- Ensure measurable impact on safety, quality, productivity, cost, and morale.
Education:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, or related fields; MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field is highly preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., P.E., Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt).
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 yrs experience in manufacturing, maintenance & reliability, industrial engineering, or operational excellence.
- Hands-on experience with TPM, Lean, or reliability improvement programs (in-house or consulting).
- Strong understanding of equipment, maintenance processes, and shop-floor operations.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops and coach frontline teams.
- Solid analytical skills, including OEE analysis, loss breakdowns, and root cause analysis.
- Comfortable working in industrial environments and traveling to client sites.
Technical Competencies:
- Deep understanding of TPM pillars (AM, PM, FI, EEM, SD, QM) and their deployment sequence
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation fundamentals relevant to shop-floor equipment
Professional Competencies:
- Work collaboratively with EFESO project teams to deliver high-quality consulting engagements.
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders at all levels.
- Contribute to proposals, insights, and thought leadership in TPM and operational excellence.
