You’ll fit if you:
- Actually like people and can build real relationships
- Have customer-service skills (sales experience is nice, not required)
- Can stay sharp and persuasive when someone’s on the fence
- Hold yourself to high standards without being a tool about it
- Communicate clearly in person, on the phone, and in writing
- Look presentable (jeans are fine, just not the ones with holes that show your entire knee)
- Have a clean driving record and valid license
- Don’t mind a background check and drug screen
The day-to-day
- Absorb product training until you can talk tractor specs in your sleep
- Help customers figure out what they actually need (not just what they think they want)
- Set goals, own your numbers, and chase them
- Handle quotes, follow-ups, credit apps, and the necessary paperwork
- Support online buyers through our eSales side
- Stay in touch with past and future customers so the deals keep coming
