Trade Compliance Analyst
Magnet Forensics is seeking a detail-oriented Trade Compliance Analyst to support the company's global trade compliance program. This is an entry-level to early-career position responsible for conducting daily compliance reviews and screening activities to ensure compliance with applicable export control, sanctions, and trade regulations, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
The successful candidate will perform Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews, restricted-party screening, sales opportunity reviews, end-user due diligence, and transaction monitoring activities. This role will work closely with the Legal, Compliance, Sales Operations, Finance, Customer Success, and Procurement teams and will escalate higher-risk matters to senior compliance personnel for further review. The analyst will be responsible for screening transaction parties using Descartes and ensuring appropriate documentation and records are maintained. Magnet's procedures require screening customers, vendors, banks, brokers, consignees, and other transaction participants against restricted party lists throughout the transaction lifecycle.
