Trade Lane and Procurement Manager
Job Responsibilities
1.1 Market Information Integration: Regularly research and analyze the overall development trends and market
freight rates of the trade lanes; collect and organize information on capacity and volume changes, market
competition dynamics, and freight rate fluctuations along relevant trade routes.
1.2 Carrier Relationship Development and Maintenance: Maintain headquarters-level relationships with various
carriers along the trade lanes; establish and develop carrier relationships based on business development
needs; negotiate and sign multi-port freight contracts with the company's core carriers to reduce
procurement costs.
1.3 Freight Procurement Management: Monitor local freight procurement across regions, as well as the
implementation of headquarters-signed long-term freight agreements across business units; coordinate
various matters on the carrier side during contract execution.
1.4 Overseas Supplier Resource Integration and Management: Establish and improve the overseas supplier
resource allocation system and cooperation mechanisms; maintain cooperative relationships with suppliers.
1.5 Other tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
2.1 Bachelor's degree or above, with over 5 years of experience in international freight forwarding and logistics;
carrier background preferred.
2.2 Familiar with overseas trade lane management, freight procurement, pricing negotiation and trade
management.
2.3 Proficient in English and Chinese, with fluent oral communication skills.
2.4 Driven and dynamic, ability to work well with various stakeholders.
2.5 Has market and freight rate intelligence, trade lane strategy.
2.6 Possess Good negotiation skills.
