Trade Marketing Executive

Job Summary

You will develop and execute trade marketing initiatives across Singapore and Malaysia to enhance brand visibility and drive category growth in the FMCG sector through cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement trade marketing strategies targeting key channels and accounts to drive business growth
• Increase brand visibility and category sales through effective in-store execution and merchandising activities
• Plan and execute trade promotions aligned with sales and marketing goals to maximize impact
• Coordinate new product launches, promotional campaigns, and pack/price changes with internal teams and external partners
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
• Analyze trade promotion effectiveness and recommend actionable improvements for future campaigns
• Support distribution tracking, planogram implementation, in-store sampling, secondary displays, and POSM production and deployment
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and external partners to ensure seamless execution of trade marketing plans
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support business objectives

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Sales, or Category Management within the FMCG industry
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate market data and trade promotion outcomes
• Effective presentation and communication skills to engage stakeholders and partners
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in graphic design to support marketing materials development
• Knowledge of category management and space management to optimize product placement and sales
