Trade Operations Associate
You handle counterparty settlement requests, coordinate with trading and client-facing teams, reconcile trades, transfers, and inventory across internal and external systems, monitor settlement and lending needs, support compliance controls, and resolve data discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming counterparty settlement requests within agreed timeframes
- Act as a point of contact for a portfolio of counterparties
- Track trade operations KPIs
- Coordinate with Trading Desk, Product, and Customer Success teams
- Ensure trade, transfer, and inventory reconciliation across internal and external systems
- Monitor inventory needs for settlement and lending and borrowing activity
- Liaise with Treasury Management
- Provide input to compliance and risk teams on operational controls
- Follow trade operations processes for regulatory compliance
- Provide timely trade and settlement data to Accounting
- Reconcile internal and external systems
- Identify and resolve reconciliation breaks
- Improve reconciliation processes and identify gaps
Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience in a trading firm, hedge fund, or investment bank
- Self-management skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Understanding of digital assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
