About the Job
Structure, draft, and negotiate terms for various commercial contracts.
Manage the issuance, presentation, and negotiation of letter of credit documentation.
Partner with financial institutions and internal finance teams to facilitate trade finance for physical cargoes and manage foreign exchange hedges.
Oversee and handle post-shipment settlement activities.
Maintain accuracy and integrity in all reporting data submitted to the Finance and Risk functions.
Uphold strong operational control standards while driving and implementing process improvement initiatives.
Skills and Requirements
Proven track record in trade operations, execution, or trade finance within the commodity space.
Direct expertise in letter of credit processes, standard shipping documentation, and trade settlements.
Strong familiarity with commercial agreements, trade finance structures, and risk control measures.
Excellent cross-functional coordination skills with the capacity to interface effectively with banks and internal stakeholders.
