Position Title: Trader – Raw Materials Employment Type: Full Time Salary: depending on experience and qualifications Job Location: Dubai About the Client: An international steel and raw materials trading platform, based in Dubai with a strong global network, offering structured trading opportunities with fully integrated logistics and finance services. Job Description: • Independently originate, negotiate, and execute physical trades across ferrous raw materials from pricing strategies, contract structuring, to margin optimization • Analyze global supply-demand dynamics, freight trends, pricing indices, and geopolitical impacts to identify arbitrage opportunities • Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, shipping, finance, insurance, and back-office teams to ensure seamless contract execution and documentation. • Monitor counterparty risk, credit exposure, and contractual obligations within trade regulations.
• Open to Male, all nationals, aged 50 years or below • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on trading experience in iron ore, scrap, HBI/DRI, DR pellets, and metallurgical coke • Strong global network of suppliers and buyers, with the ability to originate trades independently and manage P&L • Proven leadership skills with experience guiding teams in multicultural, cross-border environments • Solid knowledge of trade finance, Incoterms, and shipping logistics
