Tradesman 2 - Journeyman Laborer

Primary Function:

TTS Engineering Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Laborer to support our public works and prevailing wage projects. We are looking for individuals who have successfully completed a formal apprenticeship program and bring strong field experience, professionalism, and a safety-first mindset. The Journeyman Laborer will perform a wide range of construction labor duties at a skilled level, supporting infrastructure and public works projects. This role requires knowledge of industry standards, efficiency on job sites, and strict compliance with prevailing wage requirements.

**Reports To:** Foreman or Superintendent/Dispatch

Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled labor duties including grading, trenching, site preparation, and material handling
• Assist with concrete work, utility installation, and general construction tasks
• Read and follow plans, specifications, and supervisor instructions
• Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness
• Adhere to prevailing wage and public works compliance requirements
• Follow all OSHA and company safety standards
• Work collaboratively with crews, foremen, and project managers to meet deadlines

Work Environment:

• - 100% field-based work.
• - Flexible working hours, including overtime, nights, and weekends.
• - Willingness to work outdoors in extreme temperatures (hot and cold).
