Reports To: Trading Manager

Position Summary

The Trading Analyst is responsible for analysing marketinformation, trading data and commercial performance to support tradingactivities and decision-making. The role provides timely market insights,trading analysis and reporting to assist Traders in managing tradingopportunities and risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyse oil market trends, prices and industry developments.
  • Prepare market reports, trading analysis and management reports.
  • Analyse trading performance, positions, margins and profitability.
  • Support mark-to-market (MTM), exposure and risk reporting.
  • Develop and maintain trading models, reports and analytical tools.
  • Coordinate with Trading, Trading Operations, Shipping and Finance & Accounting to support trading activities.
  • Maintain market and trading data and recommend improvements to reporting and analytical processes.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Trading Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline.
  • Minimum two (02) years of relevant experience in commodity trading, market analysis or a related field.
  • Experience in oil trading is an advantage.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Knowledge of commodity markets and trading fundamentals.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Performance Expectations

Performance will be evaluated based on the employee'sability to provide accurate and timely market analysis and trading reports,support commercial decision-making, maintain data accuracy, collaborateeffectively with internal stakeholders, comply with Company policies andprocedures, and contribute to continuous improvement of trading analysis andreporting.
