TRAFFIC MANAGER

The primary purpose of this position is: To exercise second level supervisory and managerial authorities as the Deployment and Distribution Flight Chief & Traffic Manager, Logistics Readiness Squadron. To direct, manage, supervise and control functional, financial and technical transportation and logistics support requirements for the centralized command. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time. Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Deployment and Distribution Flight. Serves as the Installation Transportation Officer, plans and directs all cargo movement traffic management functions and passenger travel and personal property shipment and storage activities for the installation and DoW assigned area of operation. Responsible for centralized command and control, planning, execution of all installation's deployment operations and the distribution of cargo, passengers, and personal equipment. Represents the Deployment and Distribution Flight with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
