Trainee Concrete Batcher/Dispatcher

Looking to start or grow your career in operations? We’re seeking a motivated person to join our Queenstown Allied Concrete team as a Trainee Batcher/Dispatcher.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll learn the science of making concrete, coordinate deliveries, support plant operations, and ensure our customers receive high-quality products on time.
As a trainee you will learn to;

Operate the computerised concrete batching plant
Dispatch trucks efficiently to meet delivery schedules
Support concrete production and manage raw material supply
Operate the loader and other yard equipment
Work closely with drivers to optimise fleet performance
Maintain plant cleanliness and assist with basic maintenance
Deliver excellent customer service and support sales opportunities
Uphold quality, safety, and environmental standards

This is a great opportunity to develop a specialist career in the construction sector. No experience is required as full training is provided along with support to obtain the required licences. The role could equally suit a school leaver or somebody who already works in the construction industry and wants a change of direction.
The role is full time with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Pay is in the range of $30 to $40 per hour depending on experience and aptitude.
