Trainee Contract Logistics Continuous Improvement

As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Main responsibilities

Support the creation and implementation of the process simulation tool to visualize material flow and identify opportunities for improvements.
Map processes and identify main improvement opportunities.
Review and standardize all processes related to VAS activities (Value Added Services).
Work together with the production system team to identify potential areas of improvement and execute continuous improvement projects following DMAIC approach.

Skills and experiences

Educated to Bachelor/Master degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering or similar.
Knowledge of process management.
Operational research interest for finding the optimal combination of variables and testing “what if” scenarios.
Proven interest in logistics environment.
Demonstrates an interest for continuous improvement, having excellent communication and interpersonal skills is a must.
Is process driven with strong analytical and problem solving skills, a Self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced skills in MS office tools.
Italian language is required. Business level English is a plus.
Job Location is Mantova (MN), on site.
