Trainee IT support Engineer (Bengaluru) Company: Utthunga Technologies Job Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India Employment Type: Full-time The Trainee IT Support Engineer provides first-level IT support to end users by assisting with hardware, software, network, and IT service requests. The role focuses on learning IT support processes, troubleshooting common technical issues, and maintaining IT assets while ensuring excellent customer service. Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications. Log, track, and resolve IT support tickets within defined SLAs. Install and configure software applications as per business requirements. Support basic network troubleshooting (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, printers). Assist in onboarding and offboarding employees, including system setup and asset allocation. Maintain IT asset inventory and update asset records. Perform basic hardware diagnostics and coordinate repairs. Support antivirus, endpoint security, and operating system updates. Assist in backup verification and data recovery activities. Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT engineers. Maintain documentation for IT procedures and support activities.
