About the role | Mō te tūranga:

Our busy Dunedin Laboratory, which provides service to both the Hospital and Community, is looking for Medical Laboratory Trainees/Technicians to work in the HPV testing area. Your role will see you performing routine testing with a high degree of skill and confidence.

To be considered for this role you will need to hold a relevant School leaving science qualifications as a minimum requirement. You will need to have strong work ethic, be methodical, and demonstrate attention to detail. We welcome applicants from any scientific discipline but an interest or experience in Molecular Pathology is preferred.

This is a 12-month fixed-term full-time position. Participation in shift and weekend rosters may be required. The successful applicants will be customer focussed and committed to providing an excellent service to the greater community. If you do not yet have your registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand, we will also consider candidates who are in the process of becoming qualified.
