Trainee Operator
- Carry out all Terminal operations including control room, jetty, manifold, tank farm, utility and emergency response tasks safely in accordance with standard operating procedure
- Coordinate berthing and un-berthing of vessels alongside of the terminal.
- Deliver and monitor loading / discharge orders to vessel.
- Carry out tank sampling/dipping
- Ensure ship's mooring lines are taut, gangway and loading arms are operating safely and complying with terminal safety rules and regulations.
- Acknowledge and respond as a panel man, field/jetty technician in accordance with established alarm procedures.
- Report all incidents in a timely manner.
- Follow basic mandatory work instructions to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of own self and others.
- Liaise with the pilot to ensure safe mooring of the ship and positioning of the ship's manifold to the loading arms.
- Handle shipping documentation
- Comply and support the safety and emergency response procedures of the terminal.
- Support Shift Leader to make sure that contractors or third party execute operation tasks on site that adhered to safety, health and environment regulations and the company's standards.
