  • Learning to review subcontractor documentation, testing reports and heat treatment records.
  • Supporting internal quality audits and continuous improvement activities.
  • Communicating with site teams, clients and subcontractors about quality requirements.
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate quality and inspection reports.

Your responsibilities will develop as you gain experience, with technical reviews and approvals carried out within your training, competence and authority.

What we are looking for

  • An interest in welding, fabrication, engineering and quality assurance.
  • Strong attention to detail and an organised approach to work.
  • Good communication and IT skills.
  • The ability to follow technical instructions and maintain accurate records.
  • A willingness to undertake training, study and revision.
  • A reliable approach and the ability to work well with others.
  • Willingness to travel regularly and work away from home.

What we offer

  • Practical training and guidance from experienced welding and quality professionals.
  • Experience on engineering projects across the UK.
  • Support towards relevant qualifications in welding inspection, health and safety, and auditing.
  • Opportunities to develop your skills and progress within the business.
