Trainer - Procurement (Freelance)

- Provide in-depth understanding of the procurement lifecycle, from requirement identification to supplier evaluation and purchase execution.
- Incorporate real-world procurement challenges and case studies to enhance practical learning.
- Facilitate role plays and negotiation simulations to build participant capability in vendor management.
- Support learners in preparing for globally recognized procurement certifications such as CIPS.
- Develop and customize training materials aligned with industry best practices.
- Evaluate participant performance through assignments, discussions, and assessments.
- Share insights on global procurement trends, risk management, and supplier relationship management.
- Mentor participants on handling real-time procurement challenges in their organizations.
- Maintain training documentation and submit detailed feedback reports post sessions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience in procurement or sourcing roles.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS or equivalent will be highly preferred.
- Strong expertise in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost-saving strategies.
- Prior experience in delivering training or workshops in procurement-related areas.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with procurement tools, ERP systems, and sourcing platforms.
- Ability to translate complex procurement concepts into easy-to-understand content.
- Strong industry exposure across sectors will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to engage on a freelance basis with flexible scheduling availability.
