Training Administrator
This position manages education programs, curriculum design, and training instruction for a wide variety of courses presented to employees for their job advancement and overall career development. The work involves planning, administering, or evaluating programs designed to develop employees and manage learning in the organization, located in the Education Service of the Oklahoma City Health Care System (OKCVAHCS),
Major duties of this position include but are not limited to: Deliver briefings regarding the TMS as required to managers, supervisors, and other leaders. Verifies database information in the TMS. Create assignments of appropriate training to local users, through the use of assignment profiles. Deliver briefings regarding the TMS as required to managers, supervisors, and other leaders. Verifies database information in the TMS. Monitor external events entered into the TMS. Responsible for monitoring education mandates and compliance. Ensures accurate training data is reported to appropriate party. Serve as the Domain Manager, Learning Manager, Item Manager, Assignment Profile Manager, Assignment Manager, User Manager, Item Manager, Scheduling Manager, Registration Manager, Help Desk Manager, Report Manager, Question Editor Manager, Manage Self Enrollment Manager, and Manager Self Enrollment Help Desk Manager for OKCVAHCS Learning Content Management SYSTEM (LCMS). Serves as Point of Contact (POC) and advocate for TMS. Uses LCMS to create, modify, edit, and enhance training material and prepare material to be published to the intranet. Designs reports as required for individuals, Service Chiefs, Medical Center Director and VISN staff as directed. Trains or ensures local TMS administrators, instructors, employees, staff, and supervisors are trained on TMS user interface. Ensure education requirements at facility are included in TMS system set up and management. Create assignments of appropriate training to local users, through the use of assignment profiles. Deliver briefings regarding the TMS as required to managers, supervisors, and other leaders. Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
