We are looking for a Training Advisor who enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to join our Mt Wellington based team!

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Training Advisor to join our People and Culture team, based at our Head Office in Mt Wellington. Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, this role is responsible for the design, delivery, coordination and continuous improvement of all training programs. You will ensure training content stays current and that compliance and mandatory training requirements are met across the organisation.

You will work closely with the P&C team and Managers to identify capability needs and deliver training solutions that support organisational growth.

You will take a proactive approach to mapping development plans for teams and individuals, support succession planning, and ensure learning is aligned to organisational goals while fostering a culture of continuous growth.

The key skills required for this role include:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Training Advisor or Learning and Development Advisor role.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives at once

  • Experience delivering training to groups in a business setting

  • Experience developing training materials.

  • Proactive mindset, with a strong drive to seek out feedback and use it to improve training quality and relevance

  • Strong logistical planning skills, including coordination of resources, venues and participants

  • Ability to connect training activities to broader business and people strategy

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to training

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office
