Training Coordinator

As a training coordinator, you will train and lead a team of hard-working and talented hourly entry-level associates who produce high-quality products for our customers. In this role you will have the opportunity to enter our leader/manager in training program. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills, knowledge, and network in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 6:30am-5:00pm.

· When training needs arise on 2nd shift, your schedule will be 8:30am-7:00pm.

· Overtime will be scheduled as business needs arise.

Reporting: This position will report directly to the Operations Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Lead by example and inspire your team to achieve production goals and quality standards.

· Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and training to your team members on performance, safety, and compliance.

· Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as productivity, efficiency, quality, and safety.

· Ensure that your team follows company policies, procedures, and regulations, as well as federal, state, and local laws.

· Identify and resolve issues and problems that affect the operation, such as equipment malfunctions, material shortages, or quality defects.

· Participate in and support continuous improvement initiatives and projects to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

· Collaborate and communicate effectively with other shift supervisors and leaders in the plant and across the organization.

· Must be willing to work on off shifts as needed.

· Other duties as required or assigned.

Required Education and/or Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership role.

· Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a diverse team of associates.

· Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment.

· Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality standards.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· Willingness and ability to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.

· Flexibility to work different shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.

· Strong math and comprehension skills

· Excellent work ethic and ability and interest to assume greater responsibility
