Training Instructor (Engineer Equip Operator)

About the Position: This position is located at the U.S. Army Engineer School, 554th EN BN on Fort Leonard Wood, MO Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, bordering Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2-hour drive east and Springfield is a 1-hour drive west of Fort Leonard Wood.

Serve as an Instructor for the 554th Engineer Battalion.

Teach enlisted, civilian, and foreign student personnel on a variety of Engineer Horizontal Heavy Equipment.

Monitor and instruct student application during practical exercises on Equipment.

Develop revision of new and existing Lesson Plans, Programs of Instruction, Skill Level Qualification Tests, and other course materials.

Responsible for accountability of tools, training aids, and equipment ensuring proper use, care and maintenance.
