Training Manager II

We are STS Systems Defense (SSD), a government contracting and consulting firm supporting several military installations and federal agencies across the nation. We are currently supporting a new mission in San Antonio, TX and seeking additional team members to join our team. SSD is seeking a Training Manager II for a new effort at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX.
What You'll Do:

Manages the activities related to various training and educational programs for an organization.
Studies and identifies individual or group training needs, and administers plans, procedures, and programs to meet training needs.
Develops a variety of training aids and materials.
Keeps informed of new training methods.
Determines appropriateness of contracting with outside vendors to accomplish organization's training goals and objectives.
Analyzes training program effectiveness and submits reports and recommendations to management.
Prepares and approves budgets and travel plans.
Recruits, hires, trains staff, evaluates employee performance, and recommends or initiates promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

What You Bring:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Education, Org Psychology or related
5+ yrs of recent relevant experience
TS/SCI Clearance
